Instructions
- Prepare the yellow cake mix according to the package directions and bake in a 9×13-inch pan.
- Remove the cake from the oven and allow it to cool completely on a wire rack.
- Spread the thawed whipped topping evenly over the surface of the cooled cake using an offset spatula.
